Through simple breathing techniques, we can bring our minds and bodies into sync, which has been proven to bring about a state of high clarity and productivity. Science has shown that by accessing regenerative feelings, a person can tap into their intuition, make better decisions and fuel their own creativity. This module offers the science behind the heart and specific breathing techniques designed to bring the mind and body into optimal performance and well-being.
Movement for the Sedentary Executive
Demanding careers often require long hours of sitting and typing while allowing little time for strategic thinking and personal care. Over time, this can negatively impact one’s health and the potential for long term success. This program generates awareness of how a sedentary, corporate lifestyle can hamper our well-being and offers simple stretches that can be done while sitting in an office, on conference calls and even while seated on an airplane. The goal of this session is to help busy executives live happier, healthier more successful lives.
Building Teams
"Forming, storming, norming and performing" was first coined by peycholgist Bruce Tuckman in the 1960's to articulate the various stages of a typical team's development. As a leader, you can help teams move through a storming phase more quickly by helping them to gain perspective, build empathy and compassion. Mindfulness has been proven to cultivate these traits in a relatively simple and efficient manner. This module includes an overview of mindfulness, the science behind the process and concludes with a guided meditation and sharing session.
